COVID-19 Response

UPDATE - August 6, 2020:

We want to share some good news with you today.  We have received all the results from last week’s COVID-19 testing, and we are pleased to let you know that the results all came back negative.  We tested all team members and residents at the community for the virus and all tested negative.

While this is certainly encouraging news, we must remain vigilant against the virus.  We will do another round of testing on August 11, 2020 and we will share the results with you once it is available. 

We plan to resume our dining and activity program step-down on Monday, August 10th, but we want to be sure that everyone is focused on mask wearing, social distancing and proper hand washing.  We will also continue our daily health screening and we want to remind you to let us know immediately if you have any symptoms of illness. 

We also want to ask you to please remain focused on the three W’s - wear a mask if you are outside your apartment and whenever you are in contact with other residents or team members, wash your hands frequently and watch your distance by staying at least six feet from others.

Thank you again for your cooperation in helping us to get this testing completed.  We appreciate your support and we will continue to provide updates if we have any additional news to share.

UPDATE - July 29, 2020:

There are no additional confirmed cases of the virus at the community at this time.

July 13, 2020:

We want to let you know that we will be testing all residents and team members at the community for COVID-19.  The testing will take place at the community from 2-6 pm tomorrow, July 14.  The testing can be performed quickly and is relatively painless. 

At this time, we have two team members at the community who have tested positive and it is important to note that no residents have tested positive for the virus.  We are performing this testing out of an abundance of caution and we will share the results with you as soon as they are available.  We believe that knowledge is power and by testing everyone at the community, we can respond accordingly and make any operational changes needed.

For now, our dining program and group activities will remain temporarily on hold.  As you know, we continue to see an increase in the number of cases of the virus in our area and it is critical that we remain vigilant.  Our daily temperature checks for all residents and team members will continue and it is imperative that any team member or resident alerts us immediately if they are feeling ill.

July 8, 2020:

We want to let you know that a team member at the community has tested positive for COVID-19.  This individual last worked in the community five days ago on July 2 and will remain away from work until the quarantine period has passed.  It is important to note that this team member did not have contact with residents and no residents have tested positive for the virus. 

Out of an abundance of caution, we will be testing the team members who came in contact with this individual for the virus.  We will share the results of the tests with you as soon as we receive them.

For now, we believe it is prudent to temporarily pause our dining program and our group activities. We will resume meal service to apartments today.  It is important that we remain vigilant against the virus and we will continue our daily temperature checks for all residents and team members.  It is also critical that any team member or resident alerts us immediately if they are feeling ill.  As you are all aware, our area is seeing an increase in the number of cases of the virus reported and we want to do all we can to limit the spread of COVID-19 at our community.
